I have tried to record using quad buffered openGL stereo many times, using varied FRAPS settings. Everything is fine with file sizes and FPS... I just can't get the output video to display as a side by side s3d video. It always shows that only the left side was recorded. I am playing it back in a stereoscopic player. My screen refresh rate is 120Hz, do I need to match the refresh rate with the FPS so I capture the display of left and right images as they pageflip?

    Doesn't FRAPS record stereoscopically? version = 3.2.3

Ant help on this is much appreciated.

I know fraps does Nvidia's 3d Vision technology (at least it says it does on the site), but I'm not sure if it supports what you're doing.

At times, I'm not sure I know what I'm doing! All I know is that I need to be able to demonstrate stereoscopic videos. I barely know what quad buffered stereo is, but that's what I use in order to do my work, and I need to be able to record and demo my work.

Do fraps developers check this forum?

    Thanks,

I will post if I get any response from the developers. I think that it may be difficult to find this out as most 3D users currently aren't using quad buffered (real) stereo.
