Hi guys,

I had a similar problem with Vista x64, was hoping 3.0 solved it but now it's happening on Win 7 x64 too even with Fraps 3.0.1.

A previous thread talked about MIC recording - - I got no problems with that!

With Battlefield 2 patch 1.50, I can no longer record the in-game sound, except the VOIP from other players and My MIC. That's truely weird.

It's the ONLY game that does this, all others are fine!

Anyone else got a working BF2 patch 1.5 on Win7 working?

So, I found the solution, hopefully the Fraps DEVs have a better way of doing this in future.

I had to go into my Battlefield 2 options and instead of selecting X-Fi on ultahigh or high settings(tried both), I had to choose hardware instead of X-Fi and then set the quality on high.

Now I can hear a slight degrade in audio quality, albeit slight, I hope the devs can sort out if there is a way to direct capture X-fi in games like bf2.

Anyway, as a result i can capture ingame sound, VOIP and my own MIC.

Many thanks self.

No problem self.

I don't have battlefield 2 handy to test so I wasn't able to offer any suggestions. Hopefully more and more people hear about this place so there is a wider audience to present issues to. Good to know you got it somewhat working, though. Audio is one of the most annoying things on a computer to figure out if it is giving you issues.
