My purpose is to have the watermark on while recording my games. I had already bought Fraps. Is there a way to keep the watermark on at all times? Thanks in advance.

I don't think you can using fraps, you could use something like virtualdub (i believe it has a filter setting for it) to embed a transparent gif with text over the video when you encode it.
