Fraps 3.2.2 lags like crazy.

iam running windows 7 64bit and i7 @920 and gtx 260 + 6gb of ram and fraps is not stable at all, wtf? help. tried full-size and half-size same lag on both. i have lock framerate on.

What resolution are you recording at?
What game(s) are you recording?
What FPS are you attempting to record at
Do you have a fraps-only drive? If so, is it internal or external? What kind of harddrive are you recording to?
Are your videocard drivers the most up to date version?

my screen resolution is 1920 x 1080.
iam trying to record modern warfare 2 and bad company 2.
on mw2 iam trying to record with 60fps and 30fps with bc2.
dont think i have a fraps only drive.
my hardrive is Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB SATA2.
just checked my videocard drivers and they are up to date.

Try setting fraps to record uncompressed RGB... does your performance change at all?

done that. got the same lag with RGB capture.
drops from 10 - 60.
without RGB 25 - 60.
ihave 91fps without fraps.
tryed everything now... and i paid for this? so disappointed.

Downloaded a program called wegame and there is no lag at all. dont know why i paid for this. should have donated to wegames instead.

Wegame is only (half decent) for people who just want to record gameplay and not bother with anything else. It produces low quality video. Fraps is for people who choose quality over performance.

If you are going to try something else I'd suggest playclaw instead of wegame.
