Ok, so i have on-board Realtek audio. and my problem with it is this.
It doesn't record in game audio, just what comes out of my mic. i have been though a few dozen threads with a similar problem, they all fixed it by checking "stereo mix" in there audio controls. this does let me record sound from in game, but it also provides mountains of feedback to my friends over ventrilo. the other thing that people have done to fix the issue is to change sound inputs 'default' setting to 'what u hear' i don't get that option weather or not i'm on detect best sound or use windows input. and the only thing i can do for sound device is 'Realtek HD Audio Input' which is a mic.
with 'Stereo Mix' checked i went through all my options on ventrilo for output and input in every cmbination and the resault was the same everytime.
How can i record in game audio with fraps? without destroying my friend's earbuds over ventrilo, while still being able to talk with them, and it not cross interfere with the in game audio.
i've spent alot of time trying to fix this and am now asking people who know what they're doing.
please and thank you.
